5 Beat Windmill
The 5 beat Windmill, involves you doing a weave, turning your body 90 degrees and dropping one hand after another over each respective shoulder just like an ordinary one. The difference is (the clue is in the name) that you are doing a 5 beat Weave up there this time. It aint easy, for some reason it feels very different to doing a 5 beat and the hand movements just don't seem to compute. A good way to practice is to do lots of 5 beat weave repetitions and gradually take them upwards. You will need to turn your body 90 degrees at some point whilst keeping the poi where they are. If it isn't working out at all, try thinking of it like a 7 beat reverse weave the hand movements just make more sense like that. Well.. they do to me anyway.
